This activity is an open competition for the public at the student level. The purpose of UNAS FEST 2024 is to develop critical thinking of Indonesian students in responding to marine problems in Indonesia, increasing pride and love for the country, and strengthening the spirit of scientific and competitive spirit to Indonesian students. There are 4 branches of competition in this activity, namely Scientific Writing Competition (SPC), English Debate Competition (EDC), Kompetisi Debat Bahasa Indonesia (KDBI) and short movie competiton.

With extensive experience in project management and event development, Shafa has led various creative and educational initiatives to create a dynamic and impactful festival experience. Her leadership within the UNAS FEST team centers on collaboration and innovation to deliver high-quality events that engage both the campus community and the broader public.

Sawo Manila fruit and leaves represent the location of UNAS FEST. Sawo manila is also a tree of 1000 benefits, where every part of the tree can be utilized. This illustrates that the UNAS FEST committee consists of students from all study programs at the Universitas Nasional. The placement of 3 leaves and 1 sawo manila fruit forms a star formation in the center, depicting high hopes and shine.

The sun has the philosophy of being the main source of energy for life on earth and sustainability. This is represented on the UNAS FEST committee. The committee is the source of energy that drives all UNAS FEST 2024 activities. Like the sun, which energizes the planet, the committee provides energy for the success of the event. The sun is always there, rising and setting every day without stopping. Likewise with the UNAS FEST committee, they must be consistent in carrying out their main duties and functions to ensure the sustainability of the UNAS FEST event from year to year.

Water represents flexibility and change. Its fluid shape reflects the UNAS FEST committee, which is flexible yet professional and constantly changing in a better direction. Its blue color reflects the peace and clarity of the UNAS FEST committee's heart for the continuity of the event.

UNAS FEST is a scientific festival where creative ideas and concepts are not only developed but also transformed into a reality that can be enjoyed by everyone. Fire is also a symbol for igniting passion and motivation. In the context of UNAS FEST, the dynamic shape of fire reflects the innovation and adaptation of UNAS FEST, and its fiery red color symbolizes the amount of energy, passion, and courage of the UNAS FEST committee.

Lumina Verde is a small, smart symbol of renewable energy technology. Its crystal tubes reflect sunlight, reducing heat from the sun. The dandelion-shaped wings symbolize regeneration and energy potential, while the energizing crystals indicate low energy output. This symbol inspires us to harness the potential of renewable energy and global energy momentum. The name comes from the Latin “Lumina,” meaning home, and "Verde", meaning water, highlighting the innovative use of anemo and hydro energy to protect the environment.

The orca whale, a top marine predator with a unique black and white body, reflects the spirit of Universitas Nasional students at UNAS FEST 2023, the biggest event on campus. Like orca whales that live in complex social groups and communicate through various sounds, the organizers of UNAS FEST 2023 showcase the diversity of their mindsets and perspectives. The intelligence and strategy of orca whales inspired the structured, integrated, creative, and innovative design of UNAS FEST 2023.
